Open Face is a burger in Rochester, New York. It is listed at 900 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14607, which places it among the local businesses of Rochester that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Open Face at (585) 327-4940; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is eastman.org, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 89 reviews, which is a strong result for a burger in Rochester and suggests consistent service.

Had the havarti sandwich on sourdough. Honestly one of the best I've ever had. Crunchy, cheesy. Excellent. Good with chicken but you honestly don't need it. Loved the bread crumb topping.

This place was a huge surprise. We were expecting overpriced, underwhelming "museum food" and instead got a truly excellent meal with really friendly service. We were glad we didn't eat before going on the George Eastman House tour. Corn mash, pot pie soup, bread pudding! I was expecting old, dried out hot dogs and Dippin' Dots. Great menu, great food and a nice atmosphere. Super-friendly staff who clearly took pride in what they were doing. Well done.

Open Face was one of my favorite spots in the South Wedge! I forgot you can just come to the George Eastman House and not go to the museum and just grab lunch! You can still enjoy the beautiful gardens and have a delicious bite to eat! Fresh and delicious as always! I will have to do this more! (Not pictured: Ginger carrots bc I gobbled them up!) :)

Most wonderful museum Cafe in Rochester! The food is delicious and priced much more reasonably than some museum cafes. Friendly and helpful staff are always kind and accommodating to my diet restrictions. Several vegetarian and vegan options. Perfect atmosphere.

Both employees were kind so that’s alway a plus! As for the food, it was definitely good but I found it overpriced for what it was. The cookie I wouldn’t get again as it was on the drier side of things. Would I go again? Yes, I think it’s a spot perfectly crafted for museum visitors or others, who want to visit a pretty sandwich shop.
